The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka is pleased to invite you to the 7th International Scientific Conference "Economics of Digital Transformation (EDT) DIGITOMICS", which will tako place onsite in Opatija, Croatia, and on-line from June 19-22, 2024.
The main theme of this year's conference is "Artificial Intelligence and Productivity: Challenges and Opportunities" Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized many aspects of our lives, from our workplace to our daily activities. Its transformative power brings both challenges and opportunities. While ethical considerations, workforce disruption, security risks, and regulation remain important challenges, AI also offers immense potential for increased efficiency, better decision making, and personalized services.
Authors are invited to submit abstracts and full papers to the EDT conference website. Please download and read the official Call for Papers.
All submitted papers will undergo a double-blind review and will be selected for publication prior to the conference. A novelty this year is the additional publication of papers in Croatian, published by the University of Rijeka. The papers selected for publication in English will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted for indexing in the Clarivate CPCI (WoS) Index. Both publications are expected to be published by the end of October 2024.
Best papers submitted to the conference will be evaluated and considered for publication in the Proceedings of the Rijeka Faculty of Economics: Journal of Economics and Business and other selected international journals (to be announced), which will be abstracted and indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) database.
